Why don’t women return for a breast screen?

An expert panel from the commercial, not for profit and government sectors will lead a BreastScreen Australia Conference debate on the reasons women don’t return for a second or subsequent breast screen.

The panel will be facilitated by Jean Kittson and includes Communications Strategist Carolyn Miller, organisational psychology expert Jon Williams, University of Sydney Associate Professor Kirsten McCaffery and Australian Red Cross Blood Service National Marketing Director Alyson Pierce.

Jean will lead the ‘Gruen Transfer’ style debate, with a focus on why more than 30 per cent of women do not return for a breast screen recommended once every two years, a chronic issue of declining returns for the recruitment investment.

Where: BreastScreen Australia Conference, Hilton on the Park Melbourne

When: Saturday 18 October 2.30-3.30pm
