Go behind the screen with our new podcast

Today we are launching our brand new podcast series, The Screen. In our monthly episodes we’ll give you more information about our program and why we are passionate about encouraging women to have a breast screen. We’ll also talk to women about their experience with breast cancer, discuss some of the support networks that are available and give you simple easy ways to reduce your cancer risk.

Our aim is to empower women with information in a light and easy to digest format, because we know that when you have access to the best information, you can make the right choice for your health.

To kick things off, we have two episodes for your listening pleasure.

Episode 1

We talk to BreastScreen Victoria CEO Vicki Pridmore and discuss the early stages of the BreastScreen Victoria program and why we encourage women aged 50 - 74 to screen with us.

Episode 2

In this episode BreastScreen Victoria Ambassador Kerri Welsh talks to us about the day she was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), the support from friends and family and her advice for other women around screening.

Available to tune in to on your computer or smartphone, it is the perfect companion to listen to while you’re on the way to work, out walking the dog or travelling in the car! You can find ways to listen to the podcast below. And if you have a topic that you’d like to hear more on, let us know by clicking here to contact us.
