Daimler Supports Victims of Hurricane Harvey Disaster in Texas

1 million US-Dollars for direct relief efforts American Red Cross will receive the donation

Stuttgart, Germany – In a joint effort Daimler AG’s US basedsubsidiaries Mercedes-Benz USA, Mercedes-Benz US International,Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and Daimler Trucks North Americasupport the population in southern U.S. states affected by HurricaneHarvey. The companies donate 1 million US-Dollars in total to thedistressed population coping with the storm’s catastrophic impact. Thedonation will be sent to the American Red Cross and will be used forimmediate disaster relief, emergency assistance and other servicesneeded by the victims of the hurricane.The American Red Cross is working around the clock in Houston, Texasand other affected cities and states to help the thousands of peoplewhose lives have been devastated. The hurricane is one of the biggestrainstorms in the history of the United States and has left a path ofdestruction and flooded areas.
