Summary

The American Family Insurance Championship brings a weekend of excitement for all, especially 5-year-old Bodhi O’Rourke, who‘s first up to the tee Friday. See the championship highlights and how our efforts help children undergoing treatment at American Family Children’s Hospital.

In its third year, The American Family Insurance Championship is bigger and better than ever. There’s an all-star lineup on and off the course. Here’s what’s ahead.

Play starts June 22-24 at the University Ridge Golf Course. Celebrity foursome Lee Trevino, Brett Favre, Derek Jeter and Andy North play a nine-hole exhibition at approximately 1:30 p.m., Saturday, following the final group of tournament players on the 10th hole.

Friday concert (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) at Madison’s Breese Stevens Field featuring Shaquille O’Neal, REO Speedwagon, Sara Evans and A Thousand Horses. See Tickets tab on home page for ticket info.

Making a difference
The Championship is an important stop on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule, and significantly benefits our local communities and non-profits.

Through our partnership with the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation, the 2016 and 2017 championships raised more than $2.7 million for charity, including the American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH) and many others. See how we will help local charities like REACH-A-Child this year.

Our partner
Steve Stricker is a brand ambassador for AmFam along with serving as a tournament host and player. He was captain of the 2017 U.S. President’s Cup Team and is a potential candidate for captain of the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2020 which will be held in Wisconsin.
