Foundations team up for Birdies to End Alzheimer’s
The Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation is proud to partner with the University of Wisconsin Foundation on “Birdies to End Alzheimer’s."
The Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation is proud to partner with the University of Wisconsin Foundation on “Birdies to End Alzheimer’s,” a pledge drive to fund research on treatments and ultimately a cure for the devastating disease of Alzheimer’s. The drive has already raised more than $31,000.
Donors can go to www.birdiestoendalz.com to make a pledge for every birdie made during the 2018 American Family Insurance Championship or make a one-time gift. The Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation is matching the first $5,000 in pledges, with all money raised going directly to the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s.
The UW Initiative to End Alzheimer’s brings together two world-class UW-Madison organizations — the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute — to fight the disease through the collaboration of research and knowledge.
